Tuesday again, or I don't remember

and if it is Wednesday or Thursday or Easter

came and it's Ash Wednesday, 

or maybe it's that I forgot my name

on the other side of the city

or it was on poorly paved roads

at those hours of the night when it is difficult

to drive straight home

without contemplating the creator among the taxis

or lovers on the sidewalks among the hundreds

of faces that appear and disappear

like photocopies more real than the visions 

of the crazy Easy Rider of the desert.


 I am lost

and I don't know if I can stay lost

now that the air is blowing devilishly

                                  [in all directions.

Martes otra vez, o  ya no me acuerdo

y si es miércoles o jueves o vino

la Semana Santa y es día de cenizas, 

o si es quizá que olvidé mi nombre

al otro lado de la ciudad,

o fue por carreteras mal asfaltadas

a esas horas de la noche donde es difícil

conducirse directamente a casa

sin contemplar al creador entre los taxis

o amantes en las aceras entre los cientos

de rostros que aparecen y desaparecen

como fotocopias más reales que las visiones

del loco Easy Rider del desierto.

 

Estoy perdido

y no sé si podré seguir estando perdido

ahora que el aire sopla endemoniado

 Hace unos días me enconté con un libro que escribí hace diez años y que, por pura juventud, nunca creí lo suficientemente bueno para publicar. He decidido reescribirlo. Una página al día. Y de paso revisiar quién era. Han pasado cosas últimamente que me han echo ver que siempre voy a ser un extranjero en Malasia, así que he decido volver. No sé cuanto tardaré o si en verdad volveré. Pero el capítulo asiático se cierra para mi. Ha llegado la hora de volver a Europa. Nunca ha de quedarse uno donde no es bienvenido. Volviendo al libro, os dejo con el primer capítulo (página). Es una historia sobre un grupo de estudiantes de universidad. Más de uno de los que habéis visto de mis películas reconoceréis de quién hablo.
